"Poisonous" does not mean deadly. Some manifestations of toxicity are subtle. The dose, as always, determines if a plant is safe source of nutrients or a toxic hazard.

BRIEF: Can you help me find some non-toxic plants for a horse arena?

I am searching for non -toxic plants to horses specifically. Can you direct me to a website that may show these. There seems to be alot of information about what is toxic but there are so many to go through. I need this information because I am about to landscape the sides of horse jumps at a local equine centre. It seems that everything I think of planting there is toxic. Can you help me?

It is a lot easier to list toxic plants and plants that might be toxic under certain circumstances (as we have ) than to make a list of plants that aren't toxic. There is probably a good reason geraniums and roses are so popular around horse facilities...I don't think a horse was ever harmed by either one.
